Kingpin lunges for Spider-Man, who dodges his attacks and continues to mock him, before webbing him to a wall and escaping with the footage.At home, Peter Parker destroys the DVD revealing his unmasking, before heading over to the Daily Bugle to drop the footage on Ben Urich's desk. Urich the goes to J. Jonah Jameson's office to show him the footage. Peter then calls Mary Jane to ask her to meet him after school the next day as he has something really important to tell her.We then see Wilson Fisk in what appears to be a foreign country. He holds a paper reporting that his whereabouts are unknown after the footage of him murdering Mr. Big was released. A serial-killing organism that took Gwen's life, and now  seems to be after Peter himself.  The organism, who, for lack of a better name, I will call Carnage,  starts to resemble Peter again. Peter orders Connors back to his lab so that the  doctor can find out how to kill it, threatening to throw it in a room with  Connors himself.  What unfolds is a battle in the middle of the night where Peter blames  himself for this creature. HUMAN pieces of garbage he can handle, but murderous, mutated clones of himself? Peter thinks he's failed completely, but has  little more time to ruminate when Carnage attacks and kills two more cops.  Carnage takes on a very familiar form, closely resembling Peter's late father.  Connors returns to his lab to find Peter waiting for him. Peter explains  that the creature was looking for Peter to stabilize its own DNA (which is  why it attacked the others). The face we kept seeing wasn't Peter's... it was  Peter's father's face. Peter stopped thinking and let instinct take over. In a clear-cut case of him-or-it (emphasis on it: Peter didn't see it as any  more than a spore or a virus), Peter threw the creature down a smokestack.   Peter again threatens to kill Connors, but naturally doesn't follow up. Later, Connors goes to a police station and turns himself in.  The next morning, MJ asks if Peter caught the guy. Peter also announces  that he's done with Spider-Man.  Ben Reilly shows up at work, and the dean tells him that his and  Connors' experiment are what killed the guard (wait... Smitty? I thought his name  was Sam.). Since Connors is in custody, the lab is closed, and Ben is out of  a job. Ben asks if he can get his things from the lab. Back in the street, Peter has his hands up and is attempting to surrender, but his claws keep popping out every few seconds, so it's hard for him to convince them. Eventually he just runs away, but the police take him down with a taser. As he is put into a police car, Peter tells Wolverine to put on his Spider-Man costume.In a police cell, the policemen come over and give Peter his phone call. He decides to call the X-Men, as they might be able to help him.When the call connects, Peter explains to Kitty Pryde that he's stuck in Wolverine's body, and that he wants their help. Unfortunately, before he can explain more, Wolverine's claws pop out unexpectedly, and the phone is cut in half. Meanwhile, in an alley somewhere, Wolverine decides that he will put on Peter's Spider-Man mask, but not the rest of the costume. After a few tries he gets the hang of web swinging and arrives at the police station where Peter is being held. He knocks out the guards then tells Peter to pick the lock with his claws. Wolverine and Peter are both outside, and try to work out why they've switched bodies. Wolverine asks Peter what he did the previous night, and Peter explains that all he did was he did his homework, talked to Mary Jane on the phone, then fell asleep whilst reading the Hobbit. Peter then asks Wolverine what he did the previous night, but Wolverine refuses to answer. As they're arguing, the two suddenly hear gunshots, and head down to street level to check it out.Down in the street, Shocker is running out of a bank with money, when Peter and Wolverine arrive. Before they fight Shocker, Peter makes a joke, which Wolverine asks him not to do whilst he's in his body. The two argue for a bit before they remember about Shocker, and take him out. At that point the X-Men arrive, and Jean tells Wolverine that this is his punishment for hitting on her the previous night. After a battle that takes out a lot of priceless artifacts, the police surround the scene.Captain DeWolfe demands the S.W.A.T. guys put their guns down while one of the hostages insists that Spider-Man was the hero here. The Captain offers Spider-Man medical help for his injuries sustained in the battle, but Spider-Man declines her invitation since he's \"allergic to jail.\"Doctor Connors goes to the lab to get some late-night research in. He finds Spider-Man waiting for him inside. Peter asks if he can cash in a favor Connors owes him. Despite not being a medical doctor, he patches up Spidey as best he can. While he's doing this, Peter asks how the whole Lizard thing is going. Connors says the DNA damage is done, but that the Lizard inside him is dormant for the moment. She agrees not to tell anyone about Peter's other identity.At Stark Industries, several SHIELD agents, Nick Fury and Doctor Octopus (heavily sedated) are all in front of a large vat of lava. Fury explains that the reason he didn't destroy Doctor Octopus's arms last time he was captured is because they thought that they could be studied. He then explains that it's a decision that was a mistake, and that he will not make that mistake again. The shield agents finally show up with Nick Fury, Peter yells at Nick fury for letting this escalate to such a level and the conversation eventually leads up to how by the time peter is 18 he is put under Nick Fury's power because he is an illegal genetic mutant. When he finally reaches home he sees a cop car outside and assumes that somethings wrong but he finds out that Gwen's mom left and Gwen's dad is going to a police detectives conference so Gwen has to stay with them for a few days.This obviously makes MJ mad and she seems to think that Peter is cheating on her with Gwen.  This ends with MJ storming off a little upset.The next scene Peter is doing his homework with Gwen when he heres a news report about Spider-man doing a jewel heist, Peter decides to go after him. They hang up and MJ still seems a little depressed when she gets another call from Peter where he asks her to help him.  She eventually gets to him and sees that he is shot, she also tells him that she has some spare clothes of his.  She is able to convince him to go to the hospital where he faints.  The doctors fix him up and put him in a bed when he finally wakes up there are some police officers and doctors outside of his room he then quickly escapes without them knowing until they enter his room.  Peter and MJ meet up again and they are able to get back home.  When Peter gets home he accidentally wakes up May who goes up to his room to find that he is asleep. After school Gwen, MJ, and Peter are walking home when they find police cars outside of Peter's house, he rushes there as usual worried about Aunt May but when he enters he sees some of Captain Stacy's officers there talking to May.  Apparently Captain Stacy was killed by the other Spider-Man.  Ben Ulrich asks around the people that were there on what happened and found out that captain Stacy was killed by some of the explosives, that the other Spiderman used to open the armored car, while he pushed a kid out of the way.The next scene Peter is at the Bugle listening to some of his boss's conversations as usual when he finds out that the other Spider-Man is robbing another bank.  Peter quickly leaves the Bugle and goes to the bank. He runs off and Sharon checks on her fellow agents, James Woo is okay but her other pawn died of suffocation from the sand. They pull up his file and find out that he's a big time criminal that was given to Hammer's office, probably bought off, he was experimented on, his codename sandman which easily explains his powers.She quickly runs outside to find Spiderman fighting sandman saying his normal jokes. Peter is getting his ass handed to him by Flint. Sharon shots flint in the head but he just spits it at a s.h.i.e.l.d. agent. He beats them some more when Peter comes back with a firehouse left over from the Otto battle. Peter wets him and he shrinks. Peter tries to help the s.h.i.e.l.d. agents when Flint comes back Flint starts to suffocate Peter when he gets knocked out by one of the scientists and a special gun that is meant to knock him out for only 10 minutes. The therapist asks if she thinks Peter's on drugs, and May answers with no.  May said that she is really afraid of Spiderman.  May then recalls an event a couple of weeks ago where some skaters were riding with tasers shocking people, then Spiderman kicked one of them into a window right next to where aunt May was.  It goes back to the therapists' office where aunt May says that she's worried about Peter getting killed by someone in their pajamas that feels they can do what ever they want.The therapist then asks if May is still feeling guilty about seeing a therapist.  May answered yes.  She says that she didn't go to see a therapist when her sister died 10 years ago, and she was her best friend, and she didn't go to see a therapist a year ago when Ben died.  She says that she's sick about this.  She then says that she is using Gwen.  She uses her so that she's not alone with her thoughts where she has to deal with her ghosts of her past.  She brings up a tape that Peter found where there was a picnic with Aunt May, Peter, Uncle Ben and a lot of May's friends that are all dead now.  She says that she pushes Peter away because she's afraid that if she loves him he'll die just like everyone else she loved.  She smothers Gwen so that she doesn't feel like a bad person.She mentions how She checks on Peter some nights to find that he is gone some nights and she thinks that Peter is off with Mary Jane.  She says that she can't really punish him because he doesn't really do anything wrong.  She lets him have freedom but yells at him for using it.  May says that she's not a good person but the therapist says that she's being unusually hard on herself and that Peter probably feels the same way that May feels that whoever he loves dies.  The session ends and May goes home May then asks Peter if he wants to go out to a movie and some pizza. It then skips to Peter reading the book King Pin falls while eating twizzlers in the  X-mansion.  He is interupted by Charles because he needs to wake up from the dream he's in.  When he wakes up he is surrounded by the x-men.  He's not wearing his costume anymore and Kitty asks how old is he and he just seems to ignore it.  He then asks what happened.  Storm and Jean switched positions so storm saves the ship and Jean saves Peter and Geldoff.  Storm is able to stop the jet from falling and Jean saves Geldoff but barely saves Peter just before he hits the ground.  After the story is told Peter then realizes that they took off his mask.  He says that he always gets found out that he's Peter Parker Kitty then tells him that they didn't know his name.  It then skips to Peter's basement where May is trying to get on Peter's computer but she has to put in a password that she doesn't know.  It skips again back to the X-mansion.  Peter has his mask Gloves and pants on but this time he's wearing an x-man shirt.  he goes to see Geldoff who is a lot happier than before because Charles gave him a happy thought.  Kitty asks if anyone wants something to drink and she goes to get something for everyone.  Charles than explains that he wanted to see him because cerebro can't seem to figure out whether he's a mutant or a human which has never happened before.  Charles starts to explain the wonders of the placenta bringing up the point that before Geldoff was born someone injected his placenta with the mutant gene, they thought that it was a failure and his powers might have only manifested at puberty.  Charles then starts saying how he will use Geldoff to bring more peace to illegal usage of mutant gene to help both humans and mutants.  The only problem is that he doesn't like the idea of Geldoff being used as a tool he says that why can't Geldoff just have a normal life when Beast goes Peter and asks to define normal.  Peter then says define this and punches Beast to the ground, he grabs Geldoff and runs off Cyclops blasts a laser at Peter who easily doges them and kicks him in the face.  He then runs into Kitty or he runs through Kitty and kicks Colossus out a window and he jumps out to find Charles standing at a tree telling Peter that that wouldn't do any good.  Peter wakes up again to find out it was just a thought.  Charles says that Geldoff will be treated with the most respect.  Geldoff then says that he wasn't going to hurt him earlier he was just showing off.  Kitty then reminds Peter that he needs to go back to Queens.  Peter goes home still in the x-man shirt thinking about how he should never meet people he admires because he always ends up hating them after words. He says that the buses and their parents are already there in parking lot c.Then it skips to where Peter is.  Jean Grey Kitty Pryde and Ororo and trying to tell Geldoff that he's a mutant, and Peter is telling him I told you so to him when he faints.  The x-men are looking over him when Kitty Pryde turns to Peter and asks if he's really spiderman and he answers with  one of his usual jokes.  Kitty talks to Peter about how much of a fan of Peter she is.  Ororo asks for some help and Kitty goes to help leaving Jean to freak out Peter with her telepathic powers.  Peter feels very uncomfortable about how she is in his head.Then Jean brings up the point that Peter is the first guy in six months to not immediately think of her naked.  Once she says that it's the first thing to go in to his head.  Peter says he's done about 3 times and he's not actually until the last time when Geldoff wakes up then Jean says you okay telepathically, which freaks him out making him faint again.Jean says that it was her fault they understand why when she tells them.  They then start to wonder what to do with him because they're not exactly sure if he's a mutant.  So they decide to ask Jean to call the Professor.  At this point Peter is confused asking if Geldoff is a mutant or not when Professor X telepathically appears by saying Good Morning Angels.  They ask him what they should do with Geldoff, he says that he needs his equipment to study him, he says that even though it's kidnapping that they should take him to the school.Kitty asks if Peter would like to come to the school, she eventually convinces him to come but he says he needs to be back before six.  They skip to Peter's school where everyone is leaving the school.  MJ over hears someone from talking on the phone to someone from the other school, MJ asks if she knew about Spiderman and she answers saying that Spiderman came and didn't do much but talk to Geldoff.  MJ walks away and runs into her mom who is very worried about her and saying that she would have her home schooled.  Then May finds MJ and asks where Peter is MJ says that he was just here then Gwen comes and says that he wasn't MJ defends the idea that he was here and May asks where he is now.  It skips to Peter in an X-Jet.Kitty is talking to Peter about how he lost his costume but all Peter can think of is how sick he's feeling on the plane.  They continue to talk about their costumes when Geldoff wakes up but no one notices until Jean telepathically realizes that he's awake.  They try to calm him down but he is too exited and blows up part of the ship.
