Dirk Manning - Dirk Manning is the writer/creator of comic series such as the supernatural noir Tales of Mr. Rhee and the genre-bending horror anthology Nightmare World. More of Dirk’s comic work includes: Buried But Not Dead (Nominated for a Ringo Award as "Best Original Graphic Novel" of 2021), Twiztid Haunted High-Ons (Nominated for three Ringo Awards in 2020, including "Best Humor Comic"), Butts in Seats: The Tony Schiavone Story (#1 Best-Selling Graphic Novel on Amazon), Hope, Love Stories (to Die For), and The Adventures of Cthulhu Jr. & Friends. Matthew Spurlock - Although his original career goals both included constructing a lightsaber and joining the rebellion against the Empire, Matthew Spurlock turned down adventure and decided to go to art school. Since earning his BFA at the Columbus College of Art and Design, Matthew made a career as a freelance illustrator and spends his time creating alternative movie posters. He now sets his sights upon the world of tabletop gaming, aspiring to get his foot into the door of Magic the Gathering.
Natalie Haines - Join us in giving Natalie Haines a warm welcome for her return to Packrat. As a recent CCAD graduate, she has since become a freelance artist and her most current work can be found on the covers of Sonic the Hedgehog and My Little Pony from IDW. We're super excited and hope you are too.
Tom Williams - Harvey Award recipient and CCAD graduate, Tom Williams art can be found on publishers like IDW, Dark Horse, Oni & Image Comics and of course Packrat on FCBD!
Cutthroat Comics - Representing Cutthroat Comics will be owner, author, and letterer Josh Nealis. Since it's inception in 2015, Josh has written and published 13 plus books and comics under the Cutthroat Comics brand. Cutthroat Comics is based out of Findlay, Ohio and brings an offbeat attitude to the industry. Nothing is off limits and everything is fair game.
Alex Clark - Alex M Clark is a Creative Director and Illustrator living in Pickerington, Ohio. He has been creating artwork for the retail industry over the past 20 years and illustrating comics and children's books on the side. Alex recently funded his first creator owned comic book on Kickstarter, Lost in the Shuffle, which will be coming out in September 2023.
Crypt of MADness - Crypt of MADness is a MAD-mag and EC Comics focused fanzine, featuring interviews, rare artwork, and much more! Molly Durst - Molly Durst has been rocking the self-publishing comic scene for over a decade with her creative stories. Drawing inspiration from Miyazaki movies and the whimsy of tales like Alice in Wonderland, Molly crafts family-friendly stories that transport readers to magical realms. Her characters are relatable and charming, bringing a touch of the extraordinary to everyday life. Molly keeps it real with a commitment to authenticity, making her a beloved name in the local comic book community. Get ready for some exciting adventures and a good dose of imagination in Molly's comics as she returns to Packrat Comics for FCBD 2024.
Bobby Hardy: Bobby is an up-and-coming local artist with a passion for traditional art and animation. Currently, he is working as a sketch card artist for Dynamite Comics on several unannounced projects

Smash Buddies - Meet the culinary maestros behind Smash Buddies, Ohio's go-to food truck for sensational Smash Burgers and Grilled Cheese. Two veteran buddies from the Pacific Northwest turned their cookout passion into a thriving business, officially hitting the road on June 1, 2023. Having sold over 11,000 Burgers and Sandwiches in their first month, they're now gearing up to join Packrat Comics for Free Comic Book Day – a feast for both foodies and comic enthusiasts alike! COSTUME CONTEST
Free Comic Book Day Costume Contest starts at 1pm and prizes to be awarded to kids 13 & under and adults 14 & up. Packrat gift cards for first, second, and third place.
