Green Lantern, Sentinel and Jade have their hands full trying to save New York from itself! An uncontrollable madness has gripped the citizens of New York, and not even the combined might of our heroes will be able to control it. Things go from bad to way, way, way worse as the source of the insanity comes forward, with a power that no Green Lantern can stop! S.T.A.R. Labs- Jade is under the watchful eye Dr. Emmil Brown, Kyle Rayner and her father Alan Scott. Dr Brown is still unsure what is causing her hallucinations, but is finding that over a thousand other people are suffering from the same symptoms as Jade but without her powers. Kyle and Alan are soon on the streets of the city protecting the citizens. The pair don't see eye to eye on how to deal with the situation, and Alan is suddenly affected by hallucinations and turns on Kyle. The two Green Lanterns start to battle. Meanwhile back at the lab Jade wakes up and says "Henry is back". That is when Brainwave Jr. steps out of Alan's head. Brainwave Jr. tells his origin and how he got his powers and turned on his friends. He then uses Alan's body to attack Kyle, and is about kill Kyle when Jade steps in and attempts to knock out Brainwave Jr. from behind. She is able to hit him but Brainwave Jr. is able to quickly regain the upperhand and over whelms Kyle, Alan and Jade's minds. While the three lay prone, Brainwaves Jr. leaves saying he has more important chores to do.
