X-Force holds the peacekeeping task force, S.H.I.E.L.D., to task! The crew splits up and starts decimating different parts of the Helicarrier, all in an attempt to recover kidnapped mutant comrades!SynopsisIn the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, Dum Dum Dugan gets several alarms of hull breaches. He attempts to order his men into position, but is told to stand down by a figure that pulls rank in dealing with mutants. After all, a prominent mutant is onboard and the attack is likely a breakout.Sure enough, those trying to break in belong to X-Force. Cable leads a calculated charge against the Helicarrier by instructing the others to simply "make noise" by blowing stuff up. He and Caliban, on the other hand, are trying to locate an imprisoned mutant. X-Force has no problem with their noise making, though each member does seem to be going through some personal issues: Siryn worries about Warpath; Shatterstar worries that his killer instinct is waning; Meltdown reads a file that says that Sabretooth is alive.Cable and Caliban find the door they are looking for and X-Force meets them there. X-Force launches a full attack on the door; the door appears unscathed. With a bit of pulling, however, the door is opened and X-Force finds the imprisoned mutant: Cyclops. But also, S.H.I.E.L.D. - led by Cable's old friend and now enemy G. W. Bridge - surrounds X-Force. Cable telepathically asks Cyclops to open his uncovered eyes and Cable then uses his power to guide Cyclops's beam, taking out the threat. Cyclops and X-Force escape in the X-Men's Blackbird piloted by Jean Grey.In Florida, Warpath admits to Risque that he isn't sure if he wants to rejoin X-Force.
