Spider-man and his crew head off to the Daily Bugle to talk with Jameson to see if he can lay a little trap for Carnage, he refuses until a little convincing from Cloak and Venom. Without thinking, Carnage takes the bait, which was a newspaper that said "Carnage Come Home". So Carnage returned to his humble home Estate Home for Boys and starts to tell his 'family' about his past. Spider-man and his crew show up ready to fight and the two groups fight. Carnage is about to kill Spider-man when Venom hits him with a sonic blast. However it didn't seem to effect Carnage until Firestar hit him with a firebeam. Venom then moved toward the weak Cletus Kasady and was about to eat him when Spider-man stopped Venom just in time, but that may have been the biggest mistake of Spider-Man's life. Shriek then claws at Kasady and releases the symbiote in his blood, Carnage is now back and stronger then ever.
