Caliban and Sunspot…wanted for MURDER?! Absalom and Crule blame X-Force for the death of Gideon, the External. Warpath knows the true culprit, but he’s not in any position to spill!Gideon, the External, is dead. Absalom and Crule think Caliban and Sunspot are responsible. The result: full-on assault. X-Force joins the fray, but only Warpath is able to learn the truth about the death of Gideon. Unfortunately, he is left in no condition to reveal what he knows.SynopsisBelow Gideon's penthouse, Gideon lies withered and dead at the feet of Sunspot and Caliban. Despite his feelings towards the man who killed his father, Sunspot tries his best to save the External. The two are attacked by Crule and Absalom, who accuse them of killing Gideon. Sunspot gets an S.O.S. out to the rest of X-Force and turns to help Caliban, who is already bleeding badly.Arriving at Xavier's Institute, Meltdown brags to Domino and Siryn about how awesome she was against the Blob. The ladies have no time to rest after their recent mission, as Warpath and Shatterstar alert them to Sunspot's message. The group boards the PACRAT and heads to the fight. Along the way, Shatterstar wonders if his skill will be enough for the fight while Meltdown wonders if Cannonball (her boyfriend and current X-Man), a presumed External, can die like Gideon.At the fight, Sunspot is nearly overwhelmed when his teammates join the fight. Things go relatively well for X-Force, as the Externals seem weakened somehow.Warpath suspects foul play and leaves the fight to climb up to Gideon's penthouse. There he finds another External, Saul, killed. Warpath senses the killer is still in the penthouse begins the hunt. He nearly finds the killer but is attacked from behind.
